B2B Matchmaking Session with IT Park

C.B.Desk: In an effort to bolster the bilateral relationship between the BPO industries of Bangladesh & Uzbekistan and to explore collaboration and business opportunities, Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing (BACCO) organized a B2B Matchmaking Session recently in Dhaka, titled as-“Collaboration for Business Growth: Bangladesh BPO Industry & IT Park, Uzbekistan”. The session eventuated with a view to commemorating the occasion of the upcoming “Digital Bangladesh Day” on December 12.

The session was focused on exploring collaboration and business opportunities among Uzbek companies and BACCO members. In the introductory speech, Towhid Hossain, Secretary General of BACCO emphasized on fortifying the relationship with IT Park, Uzbekistan and wished for more effective collaboration in the coming years.

As an esteemed special guest of the session, Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority illuminated everyone on the achievements of Bangladesh government in the ICT sector and briefed about the Hi-Tech Parks in Bangladesh through an informative presentation.

The central part of the event revolved around a B2B session conducted by IT Park, Uzbekistan; where honorable Uzbek delegate Kuchkarov Abdulahad Maratovich, Deputy Director, IT Park Uzbekistan presented the current scenario of the BPO industry in Uzbekistan before the audience while setting forth their fields of expertise and the services they offer. The session was co-conducted by IT Park BPO department Manager Farrux Erkinov & IT Academy Director Dmitry Ten.

The Chief Guest of the event- N M Zeaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Department of ICT pointed out how the present government of Bangladesh is patronizing various endeavors to promote the ICT & BPO industries of Bangladesh and highlighted the significance of arranging such B2B sessions in order to ensure more international business collaboration and alliance.

Through the concluding Vote of Thanks Speech, BACCO President Wahid Sharif expressed his gratitude to the Uzbek delegation team for their constant efforts in keeping up the mutual relationship strong and vibrant while inviting IT Park, Uzbekistan into the upcoming “BPO Summit 2023” organized by BACCO.

A total number of 40 BACCO members participated in the B2B session. This session is expected to contribute gravely to the emergence of new entrepreneurs, student and employee exchange between Uzbekistan & Bangladesh, creation of a broader scope for work in the global market, increased Foreign Investment in the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Parks, creation of skilled human resources while expanding the BPO industries for both of the countries!

BACCO Joint Secretary General Md. Tanzirul Basher; Director Dr. Tanjiba Rahman, Kowser Ahmed, Musnad E Ahmed, AKM Ahmedul Islam Babu & Md. Fazlul Hoque graced the session with their valuable presences as well.
